Men's Ministry
The Men's Fellowship exists, just as Northside Community Church exists, to:
- EXALT the Lord Jesus Christ through meaningful worship,
- EQUIP God's people for the work of ministry,
- EVANGELIZE our community and world with the Gospel,
- EDIFY one another through caring fellowship.
- We are here to provide an opportunity for you to be all God wants you to be and to meet your needs as you grow in your faith.
Our vision for the Men's Fellowship is drawn directly from God's Word:
"Be on your guard, stand firm in your faith, be men of courage, be strong, do everything in love."
1 Cor 16:13 (NIV)
"We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ." (Colossians 1:28 NIV)
In accord with the Northside's mission above:
We See... A community of men of all ages who visibly display the character and love of Jesus in practical ways for the current generation. An active men's leadership team committed to the spiritual growth of all men through teaching, encouraging, and leading by example. If interested in joining team contact Barry Mussolum.
Every man in our community happily pursuing their God given purpose and finding a life with Christ more attractive than the material ways of the world. (Col 2:20; 2Pe 2:20; 1John 2:15-17) Coming to be...
- By holding events relevant to the men of today.
- By reaching young men with the gospel and mentoring them to live satisfying Godly lives.
- By practicing acts of God's love in our community through relevant service.
- By inviting unchurched men to men's events and Sunday services on a regular basis.
- By being committed to personally welcoming new male attendees at Northside.
- By helping each other live with purity and biblical values in all areas of life.
- By teaching and equipping our men with effective, culturally relevant methods of evangelism.
- By making men's events and bible study accessible and convenient for all men regardless of their life situation.
- By encouraging all men to discover and use their spiritual gifts in service of Jesus Christ.
Men of the Bible were courageous, loving, warriors for God. Let us carry on the tradition.
We offer multiple alternatives to grow in your faith, get to know brothers-in-the-Lord, and apply your faith in the real world.
